The freelance fantasy role playing
1. Introduction
Roleplaying is a game where 4-5 human beings sit around a table and are interacting with each other. The game called adventure is lead by an AM (Adventuremaster) who tells a story and is playing villains and NPCs (Non-player characters). The other people called players are interacting with the story of the AM. Players participate in great adventures and dangerous quests taking a role of a hero. A band of heroes can seek for treasures. in mysterious dungeons infested with monsters. This is a game of imagination which consists of many things: storytelling, social interaction, war game, dice rolling. The possibilities are endless. It is more better than a computer game where you are restricted by the rules. In dreamland, you can do everything what you imagine.
2. How to play?
The AM tells a story and the players react to that. Dreamland can be played on Windows Live Messenger or on message boards of the internet. Players talk with each other, battle with monsters and acquire magical artifacts and sparkling treasure on the way in the adventure.
3. The world
Elementia is played in Shingo’s world – Earth. This is a fantasy version of the real Earth. Just look around!
1. Oscar’s house. He is the greatest wizard of the world.
2. Lightville. Beginner’s village. Nothing special.
3. Northern woods
4. Bridge to the Middle-Continent
5. Druid tower
6.Mech City. A technologically advanced town where robots are roaming and people travel by tram.
7. Ninja Cat Max’s house. He is a real hero who saved Earth two times from the evil powers.
8. Furry village
9. Claw Mountain
10. Griffon village. A village where griphons are tamed.
11. Devilsin castle. The mansion of the Ninja Cat Max’s archenemy.
12. Southern desert. Very dangerous!
13. Flik-Flak Town. A mysterious town which can be visited only at full moon nights.
14. Draciel. A dwelling of orks who are lead by the ork queen.
15. Night goblin’s camp
16. King Castle. The capital of the world. The king rules here.
17. Sunshine City
18. Sakura island
19. Wulpi island. An island where the doglike creatures called wulpis live. They were born from the nuptials of the two high gods.
20. Northpole
21. Christmas Town. Santa’s workshop and house where he and his elfs are working. Nowadays this town is a sightseeing.
22. Human Auction House. Slavery
23. Lost Vegas City. It is the second biggest city after King Castle. From Lost Vegas one can reach other dimensions or space.
24. World’s End. Uninhabitated territory.
25. Twilight the flying island. Scientists and meteoroligsts live there.
26. Malphak Forest. This forest is full of dangerous ice monsters.
27. Blondebeard village.
28. The sanctuary of the dragon patriarch. The last hope of a few dragons who are still alive.
29. Firelily dorm
30. Overmind's hideout. The organisation Atheneia was operated from this tower lead by their queen, the Overmind.
31. Wonderland. The crazy and colorful residents of Wonderland are popular on Earth.
32. Kamabakka kingdom. A secretive and unique kingdom where homosexual and transsexual people are trained.
33. Ananas island. The Golden Dragon stadium is located there in which the martial arts tournaments are held.
34. Pazurika town. The capital of the south continent. A quiet, peaceful place.
35. Acheros. Before King Castle was built, this was the capital of the world. Once a group of heroes saved the town from an attack of a demonlord.
36. Zombie Hotel. A mysterious town where the dead is walking.
Important facts:
-The flora and the fauna is similar to the Earth’s. There are some minor differencies: mythical creatures and dinosaurs also exists.
-The climate is the same as on Earth.
-People believe in many gods so the inhabitants of Dreamland are polytheists.
-The main currency of Dreamland is Lottery (LT$).
-On the world rule many kingdoms. Heroes can be hired by royal authorities to do important jobs.

As many belief as many gods exist in the world of Elementia. Gods give hope to people’s life. There are also the dark gods who take delight in the torture of the innocent.
-Lumenia: The godess of light who created the world from chaos.
-Testament: The lord of darkness who has only one person to love, Lumenia herself.
-Alviss: The god of minerals and mining, the lord of the dwarves.
-Elenarion: The godess of love and nature, the lady of the elves.
-Krubla: The ogre warrior god.
-Neptune: The king of the sea, the lord of the ocean.
-Kryptin: The godess of death who takes the souls to the underworld.
-Hexord: The lord of the magicians, the god of knowledge and justice.
The dark gods of chaos
-Kain: The dark lord of war.
-Zain: The dark lord of discord
-Morgul: The dark lord of death
-Melkor: The dark lord of plague
4. Character creation
Character creation is not an easy task. Firstly, choose a race and a class for your character. You can select from the premade races of dreamland, but you can come up with new species and occupation for your character. If you decided, then you should give a name and a backstory (5-10 lines of text) for your character. The character description should include the following things:
-gender
-age
-birthday
-horoscope
-blood type
-hair and eye colour
The last part of the character creation is to give abilities to your character. You can have 4 adventure and 4 battle abilities. These abilities will determine how you progress in the adventure and how you fight monsters. You will need a dice to give results of your ability points. Enough talk, let’s start with the races!
4/1. Races
Human: The most common and regular race is human. If it comes to abilities, they are average. They can learn and excel at everything. They are a decisive and resourceful heroes with enough determination to face any challenge. Choose them, if you want to be an ordinary hero who can do everything for his/her allies.
Special abilities: Willpower, flexibility, ability bonus
Humans does not have any racial bonuses.
Humans can choose every class avaiable.
Wood Elf: Wood elves are mysterious and secretive beings who live in the forest. They use longbow and arrows in battle when they protect their homeland. They are always noble and charitable seeking help to every creature on Earth. Choose them if you want to be master of the woods shooting arrows to the evil forces.
Special abilities: Elven accuracy, regeneration, invisibility in the forest.
Racial Bonuses: Constitution -5, Agility +4,
Charisma +3
Classes: Paladin, Ranger, wizard, witch, scientist, bard
Dwarf: Tough, gruff and strong as bedrock, dwarves miss no opportunity to settle grudges with the edge of an axe. They are very loyal to their allies. They are excellent and determined fighters who live under ground.
Special abilities: poison and disease immunity, magical resistance, specialised weapon: axe.
Racial bonuses: strength +3, endurace +4, charisma -2
Classes: fighter, wizard, witch, engineer
Gnome: Gnomes are excellent technicians and alchemists who love precious treasures, jokes and mechanics. Members of their races have a great sense of humour and while they love puns, jokes and games, they also relish tricks. They can understand a high level of technology.
Special abilities: mechanical experts, tricksters
Racial bonuses: +3 Constitution +2 endurance

Classes: rogue, bard, engineer, inventor, scientist.
Fey: These woodland spirits hide in the deepest forests on Earth. They show themselves only to those who deserves it. They are a mischievous and cute race, but they can fight as well. The fey often aid the heroes in battle. Choose them if you want to be nice and a fully magical character.
Special abilities: tiny-size, teleportation, mysticism

Court Ogre: The civilised kinds of ogres are still a fearsome sight. They are the strongest talking race on Earth. In contrast of their immense strength, they are quite dumb and easily angered. This is one fact which requires courage to tell an ogre. They are not the friendliest ones but they can also work along other heroes as buttkicker of the group.
Special abilities: battlecry, giantism
Racial bonuses: -4 Intelligence, -2 charisma, +5 strength
Classes: fighter, barbarian, rogue, bard, witch
Vampire: Vampires are a huge threat to this fantasy world. Toughter, stronger and faster than any mortal, vampires are a power to fear. They excels in the dark arts to summon the dead and use them in battle. Choose them if you want to cause trouble at night and suck the blood of the innocent.
Special abilities: transformation, vampirism
Racial bonuses: +4 agility, +2 intelligence, -4 morality

Mermaid: These beautiful beings live in the magical ocean of the Earth. They swim and look like a fishman in water, but they walk like a human on the surface. They often hide their identity because of their nation’s secrecy. They are often mistaken for an elf, their ancient relatives. They are the mystery of the waters.
Special abilities: swimming, animal language, telepathy
Racial bonuses: +4 morality, +2 defense -4 endurance.
Classes: cleric, wizard, witch, bard, ranger
Pit Fiend: Coming from the depths of the underworld, pit fiends are the messengers of doom. They are not necessarily evil, but their home is 100% hell. Torturing the innocent or wreaking havoc is not a problem for them. They are the third strongest race after the ogres and vampires. Choose them, if you want to be an anti-hero or an evil mastermind.
Special abilities: magical breath, infernal magic
Racial bonuses: +2 constitution, -2 agility,

Squeakling: Squeaklings are a race of evil rat-men who fester in the dark places of the world. Eating rubbish and spread fatal diseases is their style. Another races look down upon them, but they don’t care much. They do everything to infest Earth with rats and other rodents.
Special abilities: spread disease, immune to mind control, cannibalism
Racial bonuses: +4 endurance, +2 intelligence, -3 Defense

4/2. Classes
Classes represent the profession of your character in the magic world of Elementia. Your choice determines every action you take as you adventure across the fantastic landscape. Let’s see what kind of jobs you can acquire.
Castes
I. Warrior caste: People who go on offense and the strongest among castes.
II. Mage caste: Heroes who can cast magic easily.
III. Soldier of fortune caste: People who have unique talents and risk their life to reach their goal.
IV. Science caste: Heroes who can use technology to win battles.
Fighter A master of martial arts capable of learning offense skills
Barbarian Two-weapon combat specialist who can do some combat tricks.
Paladin A champion dedicated to a specific god and his magic.
Cleric A healing, support caste which can aid his allies.
Wizard The highest level magician who can conjure the mana to cast dangerous spells
Witch/Warlock A wielder of arcane power supported by otherworldly entities.
Bard A wandering singer who can manipulate the world with his spectacular songs
Rogue A warrior who uses stealth and slyness to impede enemies.
Ranger A stranger who is good at tracking down enemies and accurate with ranged weapons
Engineer A specialist who understands the technology of high level.
Inventor A technologically talented hero which can use special weaponry.
Scientist A support caste who can aid his allies with scientific skills.
4/3 Abilities
Abilities make the gameplay more fair and square. There are two kinds of abilities, the battle abilities and the adventure abilities.
Constitution Determines overall health and hit points of the character.
Strength Determines offense ability of the character.
Defense Determines defense ability of the character.
Agility Determines who comes first in a battle.
Intelligence Determines knowledge and magic points of the character.
Willpower Determines how much willpower your character has.
Charisma Determines the social abilities and refinement of the character.
Morality Determines how good or bad your character is.
5 Ability eggs
Your character can have one unique, but limited power which can’t be used so much as your normal abilities. These powers comes from the eggs of the legendary firebird, Suzaku who is the symbol of life in Elementia. The Elementia RPG has an ability system which looks like in the following diagram.
Nature powers: Nature power users are able to conjure nature elements (water, fire, acid, poison).
Spiritual powers: Users can summon beasts to battle for them (dragon, unicorn, djinn).
Animal powers: Users can transform into an animal or control animals (sense of dogs, cat reflexes).
Chaos powers: The most mysterious kind of powers with million possibilities (super speed, flying, invisibility).
Legendary powers: Limited, restricted and dangerous ability types.
